Pros: I can quite literally remote into a crazy amount of connection environments all within under a minute if I want to as well as a specific connection environment along with its specific VPN connection dynamically if I want without having to connect to that groups VPN first. They have an extensive amount of tool sets one can use within each connection environment to use such as macros, scripts, management tools, command line tools, sub connections, logs and many others.
The list of additional functionality is greater than one would be able to leave in a review. Cons: The only cons I have come across over the years were there were a few times I found the version for Mac OS to be a little buggy but that was resolved timely and it didn't affect the actual functionality of the software. Also, some of the macro and script help documentation could have been a little more detailed. However, the help documentation pertaining to this could have very well been updated since the time I needed further clarification which was when I first started using it. I have not needed to use it since that time now that I understand how to configure the macros and scripts within the software. After testing several different remote management platforms with great disappointment, I finally found Remote Desktop Manager and have never looked back. I have been using it for over 5 years now. Not only do I use it to manage all my connections but I can use it in a well laid out platform. Pros: Supports every possible (nearly) type of information or connection type you could need to provide top tier support (internal or external) in a very powerful and effective interface. The tree inheritance model of (security and credentials) means I can set something once and know that all the items below it will operate the same unless I override it. Product has a constant stream of updates and releases to address issues (bugs) or provide new features and functionality.
The software is incredibly extensible and can work with many other products that may already exist in your environment. You can choose to move the data from the other product or let RDM simply refer to the other product. This means RDM only enhances what you have unless you want to replace it and then there is likely and import/migration tool to move the information without reentry. Cons: Client is (currently) a thick install and you have plugins to extend its use so you do need to insure disk space, memory, and CPU available but I have it open and it is using less resouthere are less resources than Google Chrome. Client can lock up (mostly when switching from/to VPN connection) but that is more because we run the Password Server so it is remotely authenticating access. When I was the only person using the software this was not an issue.
Pros: Based on the name, you'd think this is a tool just for Microsoft RDP, but you'd be very wrong! It can do SOOOO much more! I love that I can manage my RDP connections, along with SSH & VNC connections as well. I can have links to websites that I frequent and auto login using credentials in the repository. I have my vSphere client connections as well as vSphere Remote Console sessions as well. I have connections to my AWS EC2 accounts as well as S3 buckets as well.
I also love the 'keep tab on disconnect' feature! As an engineer, I'm constantly rebooting servers to troubleshoot issues, build new ones, etc. This is a huge time saver for me. Cons: I haven't found any cons for the tool yet.

It beautifully laid out multiple connections in a tabbed layout minimizing the number of windows I had open. However, as the Mac OS evolved the app did not and stopped working with newer versions.
I then came across Remote Desktop Manager and it does all of that and much much more. You can create workflows to connect to a VPN first, save specific credentials for different connections, and even setup remote connections for Telnet and SSH to network devices. Cons: Honestly, the only part that's hard to swallow is the price. There is a free version, but it limits the connections you can create.
I believe the paid versions is close to $200 for the Enterprise edition. Pros: I manage about 40+ Mac desktops (iMac and Mac Pro) and several buildings. Overall: Overall, I find it the best, most comprehensive tool for any administrator for maintaining connections to remote machines. It's built in Password Vault and Generator make password management seemless and trivial even while maintaining best practices (including nonsense strings of arbitrary size, rotated regularly, and a different string for each server). And it even supports multifactor authentication mechanisms (though it is limited to only certain MFA Vendors, for now at least). We are very pleased with all it has to offer, and have only experienced less than a handful of times that the application has hung. We have determined what the causes were each time, and have easily changed our practices to accommodate. When contacted, their technical support is incredibly knowledgeable and equally as quick to respond. You can still store your personal credentials on your personal system too. Overall: the perfect Remote access tool. Pros: It simplifies remoting of Server Machines, desktops, NVR, etc. This is the best tool I have ever used to remote controlling everything. I loved its simple interface. Taking backup is quite easier which gives you peace of mind. Most important part is its team sharing feature. You can also save your time by saving admin credentials and log in without having to type it each time.
Cons: First of all free edition is limited one. Secondly there would be a suggestion that it should have the network scanning ability, or at least we must know which of my remote connection is healthy and which one is getting weak.
Overall: It saves my time, money and definitely my efforts towards all of my scattered appliances. Comments: Will likely be upgrading to a paid version in the near future. Pros: We've been testing out several RDM solutions over the past year to try and determine which option is the best. There is no limit to how much you can do when using this tool, and I do not experience much if any distortion like you sometimes will with remote-in programs like this. I will start with the fact I am tracking my sales calls with appointment check-ins. It has a Google My Business integration which is a must have for me. It has sales territory assignments. Followup and scheduling are available. For the extra service, I can get GPS tracking and for the best value for my money, I can record my calls and have text messaging.
