Hi All, I have a very good and clean installation of the latest macOS Sierra Version 10.12.4 (16E195) in my MacBook Pro and also a correct and fully updated Microsoft Office 2016 installation in it. The Solver application in Excel, allows the assembly of the formulas and problems, all forms work perfectly but when you press the solve button it simply doesn't solve. I initially contacted Microsoft Support that found it really strange and suggested me to perform a total removal of Microsoft Office from my Mac (what I successfully did), and then to reinstall the whole Microsoft Office 2016 applying the latest update, what I also successfully did. The problem continues to be the same and Solve does not execute the solution. My wife has another MacBook Pro updated to the same version of macOS Sierra but she runs MS Office 2011.
The Solver for Excel 2011, works perfectly for the exact same problem that I try to resolve unsuccessfully in Excel 2016. Does anyone have any idea of what might be happening, or if this a known bug somewhere?
